Installation of Appliances
We can arrange Instalation of Appliances through several contractors. Rates vary depending on their specialty and availability. Please call our Service Office at 236-8194 for more details.
Stateside Storage for Delayed Deliveries
If customers want to "lock-in" prices and/or models and do not need the goods immediately, we are able to hold orders stateside at no extra cost as long as we are notified before the order is loaded. If you know exactly when you need your items delivered, request a specific sail date (any Friday) when placing your order, bearing in mind that it will take 1 to 2 weeks after sailing for the goods to be delivered. As the date approaches we can adjust earlier or later as needed. We always do whatever we can to accommodate our customers' needs.
Warranties & Insurance
Joshua Bate Trading Bermuda Ltd. provides insurance "door to door" from our vendor to your delivery destination. We also provide an "Out-of-the-Box" Warranty on most goods unless otherwise specified. "Out-of-the-Box" means that Joshua Bate Trading Bermuda Ltd. will ensure that the goods arrive safely and are in working order as soon as they are unpacked. Exceptions are as follows:
- Outdoor Grills - Manufacturer Warranties are Honored for 90 Days
- Residential Appliances - Manufacturer Warranties are Honored for the 1st two years*
- Commercial Appliances (and Residential Appliances installed in Commercial locations) - Manufacturer Warranties are Honored for the 1st Year*
- Generators - 100 Hours or 30 Days, whichever comes first
- Plumbing Fixtures & Faucets' 1 Year
- Televisions - 30 Days
- Customers are required to report any hidden damages within 3 business days of receipt of goods for Joshua Bate Trading Bermuda Ltd. to cover cost of repair or replacement.
Joshua Bate Trading no longer covers Condensation issues on any French Door Refrigerators - including faulty gaskets. This style of Refrigerator is simply not designed to withstand humid climates, especially in kitchens that are not air conditioned. Warranty periods begin on the day the goods are delivered.
